Muhammad Hasif graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2025.
Hasif aspires to flourish in legal practice. He joined litigation-centred law firms during his semester breaks, where he learned from seasoned practitioners. He was actively working on research and trial preparation for YA Dato’ Mohd Aimi Zaini bin Mohd Azhar during his internship with Messrs. Aimi Zainuritha & Co in 2024, before Yang Arif’s appointment as the Alor Setar High Court Judge. He spent most of his time working under Datin Zainuritha-Alfa Bt Abu Hassan, dealing with personal injury claims.
In 2023, during his internship period with Dato’ Haji Hanif bin Hassan of Messrs. Hanif Hassan & Co, he assisted in criminal and general litigation work. Notably, he took part in the Federal Court case of Nik Elin Zurina binti Nik Abdul Rashid & Anor v Kerajaan Negeri Kelantan [2024] 3 MLRA 1, where he recorded notes of the proceeding. Dato’ Hanif also entrusted him with duties at the Negeri Sembilan Syariah Legal Aid Clinic, where he independently managed its operations. He acquired skills in general litigation matters, personal injury claims, drafting of cause papers, client handling, and preparing mitigation pleas for the defence.
During his studies, he earned the Dean’s List Awards in 2021 and 2025. Hasif also published a paper on Space Law and was selected to be a presenter at the 4th UiTM International Conference on Law & Society (2024). He was actively involved in the running of the UiTM Lex Sports Club as a Sports Manager while being an athlete for the futsal, football and rugby teams. He was the lead guitarist and a co-founder of the UiTM Law Faculty Music Band. The band championed in WIRASA (2023): UiTM Battle of the Bands and won the Best Music Arrangement award.
Hasif’s area of interest is litigation, and he aims to build well-rounded expertise across all areas of legal practice. His Master is our Partner, Norazlianaliza Supar.
