In an effort to share our knowledge and educate the corporate world on the updates of the legal world, Kuala Lumpur Business and Legal Institute in conjunction with Azmi & Associates hosted a 1-Day Seminar for in-house counsels and young lawyers on the topics of Compliance, Anti-corruption, Dispute Resolution and Strategic Litigation.

There was a total of five sessions spread throughout the day with sessions led by our Senior Partner, Dato Azmi Mohd Ali, Partner, Norhisham Abd Bahrin, the former Company Secretary of Nestle MalaysiaSingapore, Mohd Shah Hassan.

The remaining sessions were led by Clive Thorne and John Vercoe, Partners McCarthy Denning, a London based law firm. Insights were given into company law in the UK as well as corporate compliance that should be adopted by companies in today’s day and age. The participants were also given the opportunity to address whatever questions during the sessions.
